Drivers Hiring Criteria
Must have a Class A CDL.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must have a verified minimum of 1 year 2nd seat Team, 2 years Solo experience over the road.
MVR of not more than 6 points established by Insurance Carrier.
No more than 2 excessive moving violations in any one of the 3 years.
No felony convictions within the last 3 years of penalty phase. (Canada eligible).
No more than one preventable DOT reportable accident in any one year of the last 3 years.
No DWI/DUI convictions in the last 3 years of penalty phase.
NO controlled substance involvement of any kind.
Must be able to read and speak the English language.
Trainees graduating from MVTI (only) with 90% average scores.

Explanation of Benefits
Company Employees are eligible for benefits after 120 days of Full-Time employment. To qualify for a full-time employment, a solo driver MUST average 39,000 miles per quarter and Team drivers 54,000 miles per quarter. Employees that fail to maintain the full-time status on any one quarter will be ineligible for any of the full-tme company benefits.I.E.Medical, and 401K Retirement Plan.
Satellite Communication System (PeopleNet)
While on the road, drivers can communicate with their fleet manager via PeopleNet . Drivers can also communicate with their families via the internet.
Basic Medical Insurance.
Basic Medical plan with coverage for doctors visits and prescription available for full time employees.
Single coverage No cost to driver
Vacation Pay
Eligible after 1 full time year of service. Vacations will be paid on average miles for the previous 52 weeks and the average rate of pay. Vacations are based on uninterrupted service and compliance of Driver Benefits section.
Vacation schedule is as follow:
12 to 36 months - 1 week.
37 months + - 2 weeks
Weekly Pay
Drivers are paid weekly.
Per diem allowance
The 5 cents allowance by the Federal Government that is TAX FREE.
401 K Retirement Plan
Employees are eligible to participate after 1 year of full time employment. After 1 year of full time employment, the company will contribute to the plan a percentage in behalf of the employee.
Rider Policy
Drivers are permitted to take ONE passenger over 12 years old for a minimum cost.
Driver Referral Bonus
Employees referring drivers will receive a referral bonus fee, once the driver referred completes their first 30 days. The fee is $ 300.00 per referral.

Paid Orientation
New employees will be paid $ 50.00 for each day orientation was attended on their first drivers settlement.

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program
A safety, production incentive bonus program is use to provide recognition for all over the road company drivers that demonstrate professionalism, safety habits and productivity. In order to qualify for the quarterly incentive bonus, each driver must follow all of the following company guidelines:
Drivers hired between quarters, will qualify if they reach the miles by the end of the quarters.
Miles will start again at the beginning of each quarter
A driver must be a current employee on the date the bonus is paid in order to receive the bonus. No bonus will be paid to terminated drivers.
Driving in a safe and professional manner, avoiding accidents, incidents and or claims.
Demonstrating courteous and respectful behavior toward customers, employees and the general public.
Follow dispatching rule. (Please plan your time off)
PeopleNet must be used to report:
Arrived at shipper
Loaded call
Arrived at stop
Depart from stop
Arrived at consignee
Empty call
Idle time must not exceed 25 % solo and 15 % team.( Reducing idle time will help you obtain the average of 7 mpg.)
All paperwork submitted in a timely manner (via imaging, TRANSFLOW).
Drivers should strive to achieved 98 % compliance on Expert Fuel routing.
Out route miles should be no more than 3%. This can be achieved by obtaining current routes from your Fleet Supervisor and following Expert-Fuel.
Drivers Logs must be turned in completed and correct and in a timely manner.
Single Quarterly Bonus Incentive

Solo from 40,000 miles to 40,999 miles =

Solo from 41,000 miles to 41,999 miles =
$ 500.00
Solo from 42,000 miles to 42,999 miles =

Team Quarterly Bonus Incentive
Team Driver up to 54,000 miles = Regular Pay
Team from 54,001 miles to 60,000 miles
$ 1,200 / split
Team from 60,001 miles to 62,999 miles
$ 1,500 / split
Team from 63,001 miles to 65,999 miles
$ 2,000 / split
Team from 66,000 miles and over
$ 2,500 / split
Quarterly Payment Schedule
All bonuses are paid the last week of the month following the ending of the quarter. The quarters are:
January, February & March:
Bonus pay last week of April
April, May & June:

July, August, & September:
Bonus pay last week of October
October, November & December:
Bonus pay last week of January
Training Program
MVT currently offers an intensive safety training program.
Trainees will complete a 9 to 12 weeks on-highway training program with
MVT's best drivers.
Drivers go through this safety training, ensuring compliance
with company and government regulations. For that reason MVT has an
outstanding safety record and maintains a satisfactory safety rating
with the Federal Department of Transportation. This ensures the client
of consistent quality service.
