 IS Department wins 4th of July Challenge...

During intermission of the Southern New Mexico Speedway's 4th of July celebration, 4 teams from Mesilla Valley Transportation went head to head in a triathalon like event. Each team had to sprint, ride a tricycle, and push their manager in a wheel barrell while water balloon were tossed at them.
The competition looked fierce as Jasom Guame (IS department) took an early lead in the sprint with Ashley Deherrera (Pay Roll) close behind. During the tricycle race, many cheateed by lifting up their bikes and running with them. The only competitor George Martinez,who actually tried to ride broke his tricycle in half and fell to the floor infront of the whole crowd! Ouch, tough luck George.
As the IS team headed to the finish line, they were almost defeated by George Martinez and his team, but they managed to take the win.
Thank you to all that participated, we look forward to making next year's race more fun and much harder!
