Company History
 Mesilla Valley Transportation began in 1981 by hauling
refrigerated/perishable goods as a small independent fleet. MVT's
strategic location in the Southwest Borderland of El Paso, TX and Las
Cruces, NM helped to expedite its growth through the 1980's. By the
early 1990's, MVT was recognized as a leader in quality service
throughout North America.
In the early 1990's, MVT greatly expanded its capabilities by purchasing a large quantity of 53-foot dry van trailers.
In 1991, MVT began servicing customers with plants in both the U.S.
and Mexico. These "Twin-Plant Industries" require time-sensitive,
reliable transportation across the U.S./Mexico border.
Mesilla Valley Transportation is recognized today as one of the
largest locally-owned,
full-service truckload transportation providers
in the Southwest. MVT is also recognized for its quality and
time-sensitive service between all major manufacturing centers of the
United
States, Canada and Mexico.
